Bishkek, March 26, 2026 /Kabar/. Maksym, a national drink from Shoro, has been declared the official drink of the VI World Nomad Games, which will be held from August 31 to September 6, 2026, in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The partnership with Shoro was a natural and logical step in preparation for the Games. For many years, the company has been a symbol of national production and is rightfully considered one of the country's gastronomic brands, reflecting the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of nomads.
World Nomad Games is an international project aimed at preserving and promoting the heritage of nomadic peoples, strengthening intercultural dialogue, and developing ethnosports. In this context, Shoro products, including maksym, seamlessly complement the philosophy of the Games, forming part of a living tradition passed down from generation to generation.
As part of this collaboration, Shoro will provide participants, guests, and volunteers of the Games with national beverages and will also implement a number of joint initiatives aimed at promoting Kyrgyz culture internationally.
"We are confident that Shoro's inclusion as the official beverage of the 6th World Nomad Games will enhance the Games' authenticity and allow guests from around the world to become more familiar with the culture and traditions of Kyrgyzstan," noted the International Secretariat of the World Nomad Games.
The 6th World Nomad Games is expected to attract more than 90 countries and will become one of the largest international platforms combining sport, culture, and science.
