Bishkek, Nov. 7, 2025. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov made a press statement ahead of the Central Asia-USA Summit (C5+1) in Washington.
In his speech, Sadyr Zhaparov expressed gratitude to President Donald Trump for the warm welcome and the opportunity to discuss a wide range of bilateral, regional, and international issues, emphasizing that Kyrgyzstan highly values the United States as an important foreign policy partner.
Speaking about Kyrgyz-American relations, the head of state outlined priority areas of cooperation:
- economy, investment, and tourism;
- hydropower;
- digital economy, artificial intelligence, and IT;
- security and sustainable development.
In this context, Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized that Kyrgyz side highly values Donald Trump's significant contribution to strengthening global stability and resolving conflicts around the world.
"For my part, I would like to note that upon assuming the presidency, I set one of my most important goals: to resolve state border issues with our neighbors in a spirit of good neighborliness," said Sadyr Zhaparov. He noted with satisfaction that, together with his colleagues, this goal was successfully achieved and, most importantly, peacefully.
"As a result, the role of Central Asia in global politics has significantly increased, and the interest of major powers in strengthening cooperation with the region continues to grow," the head of state said, emphasizing that the C5+1 format has become an important platform for developing political dialogue.
President Sadyr Zhaparov also expressed confidence that joint efforts will yield concrete results and promote mutual benefit for the countries of Central Asia and the United States.
Speaking about cooperation with Central Asian countries, Donald Trump emphasized the region's great importance as a bridge between East and West.
