Bishkek, Nov. 28, 2025 /Kabar/. The republican budget was approved at the beginning of the year at 500 billion soms, after amendments, it will increase by more than 800 billion soms, Kyrgyz Finance Minister Almaz Baketaev told Birinchi Radio.
According to him, such an increase indicates increase in the country's sources of income and decrease in expenses. “At the beginning of the year, the republican budget was estimated at around 500 billion soms. However, currently the budget volume has exceeded 800 billion soms. This is indicator of our economic growth and financial stability. Revenues have increased and expenses have been optimized,” the minister said.
Baketaev added that Cabinet of Minister will hold meeting on December 3 to consider additional issues on the budget.
