Bishkek, March 18, 2026. /Kabar/. In 2025, in order to improve the safety and modernization of railway transport, a total length of 64.5 kilometers of railways underwent major repairs.
According to the Kyrgyz Temir Zholu (Railways Enterprise), these works were aimed at ensuring the stable and safe operation of the railway network and contributed to improving the technical condition of the road.
"As part of the repair work, the rail-sleeper structure was renewed, the geometry of the track was aligned, strengthened, and other comprehensive repairs were carried out," the report says.
