Bishkek, July 22, 2026 /Kabar/. The head of the National Investment Agency, Ravshanbek Sabirov, visited the Glass Center LLC plant under construction in Novopokrovka village, Chui region.

The working visit was part of monitoring the implementation of investment projects aimed at developing the country's industrial potential.

During the visit, the head of the National Agency reviewed the construction of a modern production complex for glass containers and reflective glass, as well as the plant's preparations for commissioning, which are being carried out jointly with investors and the company's management.

According to Ravshanbek Sabirov, each successfully implemented investment project demonstrates Kyrgyzstan's attractiveness for business.

"Our main goal is not only to attract investment but also to comprehensively support projects until their successful launch. It is precisely these types of production that lay the foundation for the country's new industrial economy, create new jobs, and facilitate further investment," he noted. The agency reported that the project is being implemented as part of Kyrgyz-Uzbek investment cooperation and shows effective collaboration between the government, financial institutions, and the private sector.

The total investment in the project is $5.5 million. Of this amount, 50.7% is financed by the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund, and 49.3% is provided by the investors' own funds.

The launch of the plant is expected to increase the production of domestic construction materials, reduce dependence on imports, create new jobs, and enhance Kyrgyzstan's investment attractiveness.
