Bishkek, March 4, 2026. /Kabar/. On March 3, Deputy Minister Bakai Turdugulov met with Asian Development Bank mission representative Giacomo Gianetto at the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Utilities of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the ministry, during the meeting, the parties discussed key organizational and technical issues related to the implementation of the sustainable housing construction project.
In this regard, special attention was paid to the creation and organizational development of the Project Implementation Unit (PIU), including the definition of the institutional structure, distribution of functions, and coordination mechanisms.
They discussed the implementation of green housing standards, with a focus on energy efficiency, environmentally friendly building materials, and a system for monitoring compliance.
Furthermore, the parties discussed the parameters of an energy efficiency improvement program, which provides incentives for the implementation of modern energy-saving solutions in housing construction.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their commitment to further close cooperation and agreed to continue working together to develop a sustainable model of green housing construction in the country.
