Bishkek, Dec. 25, 2025 /Kabar/. Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Kyrgyzaeronavigatsia State Enterprise are launching a joint project to train air traffic controller instructors in aircraft vectoring and speed control, as well as flight procedure development personnel.
According to the organization, protocol of discussions was signed on December 18 between JICA in Kyrgyzstan and the Kyrgyzaeronavigatsia State Enterprise under the State Civil Aviation Agency regarding the implementation of this joint project.
The goal of the project is to improve the operational efficiency of air traffic control and route development procedures, thereby contributing to improved safety and service quality in Kyrgyzstan's civil aviation.
The protocol of the discussions was signed by JICA Permanent Representative to the Kyrgyz Republic Nishigata Kotaro, Director General of the Kyrgyz Air Navigation State Enterprise Torokeldi Omurov, and Deputy Director of the State Civil Aviation Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanat Tologonov.
