Bishkek, April 17, 2026. /Kabar/. During his working visit to the United States, Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, met with Molly Montgomery, Director of Public Policy at Meta Platforms.

The official part of the talks was preceded by a tour of Meta's technology hub in Washington.

The Kyrgyz Cabinet head was shown the company's unique innovation ecosystem, where global digital trends are born.

The presentation placed particular emphasis on cutting-edge developments in wearable electronics and augmented reality (AR). Adylbek Kasymaliev was shown the capabilities of the latest smart glasses with built-in artificial intelligence. It was noted that such technologies open up entirely new horizons not only for medicine and education, but also for increasing societal inclusiveness—specifically, the creation of assistive digital tools for individuals with disabilities.

During the subsequent talks, the parties discussed a wide range of issues aimed at strengthening institutional cooperation. Adylbek Kasymaliev expressed interest in building a sustainable and legally sound mechanism for interaction with Meta. He emphasized the importance of establishing direct communication channels to promptly resolve emerging issues and minimize bureaucratic procedures.

Molly Montgomery welcomed the initiative of the Kyrgyz side and praised the country's progress in digital transformation. She confirmed Meta's readiness to deepen the dialogue, noting the company's interest in creating a secure environment for users in Kyrgyzstan. A Meta representative expressed support for the proposals voiced during the meeting.
