Kyrgyzstan and Russia agreed on oil supply volumes for 2026

Bishkek, Nov. 11, 2025, /Kabar/. Russia is contributing to the energy security of the Kyrgyz Republic, announced Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk during the 26th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Russian intergovernmental commission.

He noted that Russian oil and gas companies are providing gas to residents and businesses, developing a network of filling stations, and supplying machinery and equipment to Kyrgyzstan.

"Russia is the main supplier of motor gasoline, diesel fuel, and jet fuel to Kyrgyzstan. We supply oil and petroleum products duty-free, based on annual indicative balances compiled taking into account the needs of the Kyrgyz side of the balance for 2026. These balances have already been agreed upon and signed on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week on October 15, 2025," Overchuk said.

According to him, project is being developed for Russian companies to build wind power plants with a capacity of 100 megawatts and solar power plants with a capacity of up to 300 megawatts in the Issyk-Kul region.
