Kyrgyzstan announces total number of voters for early parliamentary elections

Bishkek, Sept. 26, 2025 /Kabar/. Deputy Chairperson of the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan Aidana Zhupueva spoke live on the Kabar News Agency about the current number of voters in the country.

According to her, as of September of this year, the number of voters is 4,237,000. "We will have 30 constituencies. And each constituency will have approximately 140,000 voters. However, it is possible that one constituency will have 140,000 voters, while another will have 150,000-165,000 voters. "That is, there will be a difference of approximately 20%. This is all within the law, and it is even stipulated in the Constitutional Act that such a difference is permissible," the deputy head of the Central Election Commission noted.

Yesterday, on September 25, the deputies of the Kyrgyz Parliament announced their self-dissolution. The next early parliamentary elections will be held on November 30 of this year.
