On April 6 and 12, the Bishkek-2 railway station will host welcoming ceremonies for foreign tourists arriving in the capital on the international Turksib-Balykchy-Turksib train (No. 928/927) operated by the German travel company Lernidee Erlebnisreisen GmbH, Kyrgyz Tourism Development Support Fund reports.
According to the fund, the meetings are organized as part of the Sustainable Tourism Development Program for 2025–2030. The aim of the events is to widely showcase Kyrgyzstan's national hospitality, rich historical heritage, and unique culture.
The welcoming ceremony for foreign tourists will include performances with national musical instruments, demonstrations of Kyrgyz culture, and traditional hospitality. The event is designed to leave guests with unforgettable impressions of Kyrgyzstan and promote the country's tourism potential internationally.
It is noted that the Turksib-Balykchy-Turksib route offers European travelers a unique opportunity to experience Kyrgyzstan's nature and history. Collaboration with Lernidee Erlebnisreisen GmbH, a global leader in rail travel, has been a key factor in opening this route to the Western tourist market.
