Kyrgyzstan builds 673 educational facilities in five years

Bishkek, Aug. 25, 2026. /Kabar/. Over the past five years, from 2021 to 2025, construction of 673 educational facilities was completed in Kyrgyzstan. First Deputy Minister of Education Mukhtarbek Baimurzaev told Birinchi Radio.

According to him, 394 of the completed facilities are schools and 147 are kindergartens.

"During this period, 114 schools and 18 kindergartens underwent major renovations. "By August 31st, 79 educational facilities are scheduled for completion by the 2026-2027 academic year. Of these, 50 are new construction projects, and 29 are major renovations. These new construction projects include 39 schools and 11 kindergartens. Another 58 educational facilities are also scheduled for completion by the end of the year," said Baimurzaev.

It is noted that of the remaining projects, 56 are new construction projects and two are major renovations.
