On March 25, 2026, Kyrgyz Energy Minister Taalaibek Ibraev paid a working visit to the People's Republic of China, where he held a series of important meetings with representatives of leading Chinese energy and technology companies as part of a project to install charging stations and energy storage systems.
During his working visit, Taalaibek Ibraev visited the ShuiFa Group manufacturing plant and corporation in Zhuhai and learned about their operations.
The parties held talks on deepening cooperation in the energy sector and implementing joint projects, which resulted in the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and Shuifa Corporation, aimed at collaborating on energy infrastructure, including the development of charging stations and energy storage systems. The signing of the memorandum marked an important step toward modernizing Kyrgyzstan's energy sector and developing sustainable transport infrastructure.
Furthermore, during the visit, the Minister of Energy met with Yulin Liang, founder and CEO of NUCL New Energy Tech. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in developing electric vehicle charging infrastructure and implementing modern solutions.
Minister of Energy provided information about electric vehicle charging stations under construction in Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing that their installation, operation, and development using modern technologies are timely.
NUCL New Energy Tech representative expressed its readiness to cooperate with the Ministry of Energy.
The delegation also held talks with representatives of Zhejiang Anfu Energy, a company specializing in the production of charging stations for electric vehicles. The parties discussed the possibility of equipment supply and technology localization.
