Bishkek, Sept. 22, 2026 /Kabar/. 281 enterprises were commissioned in Kyrgyzstan between 2024 and 2026, under the "100 Industrial Enterprises" project; over $2 billion in investment was attracted, and approximately 20,800 jobs were created, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce reported.
According to the ministry, plans are in place to commission another 47 new industrial enterprises by the end of 2026.
Key focus areas include the processing of agricultural products; the manufacture of food, construction materials, and pharmaceuticals; and the development of the energy and logistics sectors.
"The project aims to develop domestic production, increase raw material processing volumes, manufacture import-substituting and export-oriented products, and create new jobs," the statement reads.
