Bishkek, April 21, 2025. /Kabar/. A meeting of the Joint Working Group on E-Government and ICT was held within the framework of the Development Partners Coordination Council, UNDP in Kyrgyzstan reported.

The meeting focused on the achieved results and priority areas for Kyrgyzstan’s digital development for 2025–2026.

A joint digitalization program was presented, developed by the Presidential Affairs Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies, and the State Institution “Kyzmat” under the Presidential Affairs Office.

In his welcoming remarks, First Deputy Chief of the Presidential Affairs Office Boobek Salimzhanov emphasized:

The online passport, online cadastral system, Kyzmat ID, and the updated Tunduk platform are not just initiatives — they are real steps towards effective governance. Through digitalization, we are opening the government to the people».

Minister of Digital Development Azamat Zhamangulov added in his speech:

«Our goal is simple — to make public services faster, more transparent, and more accessible for everyone. Digitalization is a tool that builds trust and accelerates processes».

UNDP Resident Representative in Kyrgyzstan Alexandra Solovieva highlighted the importance of practical focus in digital projects:

«These are not just concepts — they are real solutions that change people’s lives. Together with our partners, we are building digital skills, creating quality services, and shaping policies centered around people.».

Participants were also introduced to the updated Tunduk mobile application, which will soon become a unified digital platform integrating public services and financial solutions.

At the end of the meeting, participants reaffirmed the need to strengthen partnerships, coordinate efforts, and attract investment to make digital technologies a true driver of the country’s sustainable development.
