Bishkek, March 23, 2026. /Kabar/. The country where the VII World Nomad Games will be held will be announced in the next 1-2 months, head of the international secretariat of the World Nomad Games, Nursultan Adenov told Birinchi Radio.
According to him, the VII World Nomad Games are planned to be held in another country, and currently 3-4 countries have expressed their intention to host the Nomad Games.
"There are 5 months left until the start of the VI World Nomad Games. As you know, in 2025 we sent invitations to 100 countries. Today we have received letters from about 50 countries stating that they will participate. In fact, we expect to receive more than 90 countries. The Organizing Committee has entered the final stage of its work, and with the warming of the sun, we are moving on to infrastructure renovation. An ethno-village will be held in the Kyrchyn pasture, which is the heart of the Nomad Games. The ethno-village has been redesigned, its concept has been developed, and the organizing committee has approved it. Currently, the directing team, architects, and builders are preparing for work and are about to start work with the warming of the weather. The opening of the ethno-village is scheduled for September 2," said Adenov.
He also reported that no new locations were added to the VI World Nomad Games, and the infrastructure is ready to host the event.
"We did not add new locations for the VI World Nomad Games. Because the existing infrastructure in the Issyk-Kul region is ready. We did not use the venues used in previous games. For example, the Cholpon-Ata equestrian arena, the Gazprom physical education complex, the Rukh Ordo cultural center, and the Nomad amphitheater in Bosteri will be used," he said.
He also added that only the Cholpon-Ata equestrian arena is planned to undergo minor repairs.
