Bishkek, Aug. 11, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan continues developing fisheries and expand the export potential of fish products.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, 746.7 tons of fish were exported from the country in January-July 2026. This is 87 percent of the 857.6 tons of fish products exported in 2025.
Kyrgyzstan's fish products are mainly sent to Russia and Kazakhstan. Currently, 9 enterprises are engaged in export.
The ministry continues to work to increase fish production, supply the domestic market and expand export opportunities.
