Bishkek, March 17, 2026. /Kabar/. Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic signed an agreement to implement the regional project "Green Skills for a Green Economy in Central Asia" jointly with the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
According to the Ministry of Labor, Minister Kanat Sagynbaev, representatives of the ministry, and GIZ regional project manager Udo Volkers participated in the ceremony.
According to the minister, the document will be an important step in strengthening the partnership and will open up new opportunities for the development of vocational education. Particular attention is paid to training personnel for green industries and increasing the competitiveness of the workforce.
The project aims to develop modern competencies in the context of the transition to a sustainable economy. It provides training for specialists in areas such as solar technologies, energy efficiency, water resource management, and waste management.
