Bishkek, Nov. 17, 2025. /Kabar/. India will provide a grant to establish IT Lab for KEU and improve the infrastructure of General Medical Practice Center in Leilek region of Batken oblast, Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.
The following memorandums were signed, according to the ministry:
- Memorandum of Understanding on the implementation of the project "Establishment of an IT Lab for the Kyrgyz University of Economics (KEU) in Bishkek" between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- Memorandum of Understanding on the implementation of the project "Improvement of the technical base and infrastructure of General Medical Practice Center (GMP) in Leilek region, Batken oblast" between the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of India, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Batken Region.
Indian side will allocate 126,600,000 soms for the implementation of each memorandum as a grant. On behalf of the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of India, the documents were signed by Birender Singh Yadav, Ambassador of India to Kyrgyzstan.
On behalf of the Kyrgyz side, the memorandums were signed by Bakyt Sydykov, Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic; Baktiyar Orozov, Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation; and Zhanybek Isakov, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Batken Region.
