Kyrgyzstan, Qatar, Kuwait to cooperate in healthcare sector

Bishkek, Oct 3.2025 /Kabar/. Minister of Health Erkin Checheibaev held a number of bilateral meetings as part of his participation in the 6th Global Ministerial Summit on Mental Health.

According to the ministry, Checheibaev met with the Minister of Health of Qatar, Mansour bin Ibrahim bin Saad Al Mahmud, and discussed the development of cooperation in mental health, medical infrastructure and the implementation of modern treatment technologies. During the talks, the successful practice of cochlear implantation by Qatari specialists in Kyrgyzstan was also noted.

During the meeting with the Deputy Minister of Health of Kuwait for Public Health, Dr. Al-Mundhir Wael Muhammad Al-Hassawi, Kyrgyz health minister expressed gratitude for the support provided to the healthcare sector of Kyrgyzstan, including charitable foundations.

As a result of the talks, the parties confirmed their readiness for further interaction and regular working consultations to identify specific areas of cooperation.
