Russia and Kyrgyzstan are actively working to prevent and combat infections in a common epidemiological space, said Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Overchuk at the 26th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Humanitarian Cooperation in Bishkek.
According to him, high-altitude plague foci in the Kyrgyz Republic are regularly jointly surveyed, and services from both countries are working to prevent the spread of various diseases.
