Bishkek, Aug 7, 2026. /Kabar/. On August 06, the head of the National Investment Agency, Ravshanbek Sabirov participated in the official opening ceremony of the VIII Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum, Bosteri village, Issyk-Kul region.

As reported by the agency, the forum was organized within the framework of the XII Kyrgyz-Russian Interregional Conference.

The opening ceremony of the forum began with video addresses by the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Zhaparov, and the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, also addressed the participants of the forum with a congratulatory speech.

The Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum is one of the important platforms for discussing the development of trade, economic, investment and interregional cooperation between the two countries, as well as the promotion of joint projects and the expansion of business ties.

The forum is attended by representatives of government bodies, development institutions, regional administrations, the business community, and leading companies from the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.
