Bishkek, April 16, 2026 /Kabar/. DNA testing in Kyrgyzstan can now be done within the country, President Sadyr Zhaparov told at a meeting with residents of Nookat region of Osh Oblast in the south of the country on April 15.
The head of state said that the necessary equipment for DNA testing has been purchased by the State Committee for National Security (SCNS). Medical examinations will also be conducted within the SCNS's facilities. Citizens no longer need to travel to Moscow or Almaty to undergo these tests.
President Sadyr Zhaparov has been in the south of Kyrgyzstan since April 10 on a working visit.
