Bishkek, Sept. 30, 2026. /Kabar/. Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Sultan Akhmatov supported the development of transport corridors and the digitalization of trade procedures at the 25th CAREC Ministerial Conference, which took place on September 29 in Ulaanbaatar.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, during the panel session, he spoke about trade and economic cooperation and logistics, noting the importance of developing transport corridors, using the Almaty-Bishkek Economic Corridor initiative as an example.
Sultan Akhmatov also emphasized the need to reduce trade barriers and digitalize procedures.
The conference discussed issues of deepening regional economic integration, developing transport and logistics, digital corridors, the private sector, tourism, and capital markets.
