Bishkek, Sept. 10, 2026. /Kabar/. The National Investment Agency and Tekstil Trans LLC signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation to create the Sary-Tash international transport and logistics center. The project plans to attract up to $100 million in investment.
According to the agency, the center will be established as part of the international transport route China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan-Afghanistan, with the possibility of further access to Pakistan.
The project envisions the creation of modern infrastructure for cargo storage, assembly, and handling, weighing, customs brokerage, and digital control.
"For Kyrgyzstan, this is not simply the creation of a new logistics facility. We see a significant opportunity to strengthen the country's role as an important transport and trade hub between China, Central Asia, and South Asia. The Sary-Tash project should facilitate the development of transit, trade, and production, as well as the creation of new jobs," said Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency.
The memorandum envisages long-term cooperation between the parties in the preparation and implementation of the project in the areas of transport and customs logistics and the development of a textile cluster.
