Bishkek, Jan. 29, 2026 /Kabar/. First Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Zhanybek Kerimaliev held meeting with representatives of Bai Elim Company LLC and the Chinese company Zhongnong Jinda (Hainan) International Trade Co., Ltd, the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan said.

The purpose of the meeting was to learn about the Chinese company's operations and discuss the possibility of attracting investment in the construction and operation of high-tech smart greenhouses in the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, the Chinese side shared its experience implementing modern technologies in greenhouse farming. It was noted that the proposed greenhouses do not require special soil conditions, as the entire growing process is organized as a single technological chain, allowing for high and stable yields.

The report said that this project will increase agricultural yields and improve product quality, contribute to food security and rural development in the Kyrgyz Republic, strengthen cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, and stimulate economic growth and sustainable development in Central Asia.
