Kyrgyzstan to have a transport and logistics hub in China's Xi'an

Bishkek, Aug. 28, 2026 /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz-Chinese company Kyrgyz Trans Invest will build a 9-hectare transport and logistics hub for Kyrgyzstan in Xi'an, China. Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency informed at the Kyrgyz-Chinese Investment Forum.

According to him, this facility will become an important part of the Xi'an-Kashgar-Osh multimodal route and will contribute to the development of Osh as a major regional logistics hub. The head of the agency also emphasized that a number of other large-scale initiatives are currently being implemented with Chinese partners.

"China Petroleum Company Junda is modernizing an oil refinery in the Chui region with a capacity of 800,000 tons per year, targeting both the domestic and export markets of Kyrgyzstan.

Furthermore, Junxin Huanbao KZ Invest is launching Central Asia's first eco-technological plant for generating electricity from solid municipal waste recycling in Bishkek," said Ravshanbek Sabirov.
