Bishkek, May 12, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan continues increasing its industrial potential. In this regard, the “100 Industrial Enterprises – 2026” project is considered the main mechanism for accelerating the growth rate of the country's economy. Currently, comprehensive work is underway to open new enterprises in various regions, create conditions for investors, and introduce modern technologies into production, Ministry of Economy and Commerce reports.
According to the ministry, Kyrgyzstan plans to launch 113 industrial enterprises as part of the “100 Industrial Enterprises – 2026” project. As a result of the implementation of these projects, about 11,741 new jobs will be created in the country.
The implementation of the project is aimed at developing the country's industrial potential, creating new jobs, attracting investment, and increasing the export potential of the regions.
According to Sanirabiga Moldogazieva, the leading specialist of the industrial sector analysis department of the ministry, out of 113 enterprises, the main emphasis is on the production of building materials, and it is planned to open 43 enterprises in this direction.
"In addition, there are 16 enterprises in food processing sector, 7 enterprises in light industry, one project each in mechanical engineering and pharmaceutical production, and other sectors. In regions, it is planned to implement 6 projects in Talas region, 19 in Osh region, 7 in Naryn region, and 10 in Issyk-Kul region," Moldogazieva said.
