Bishkek, Jan. 29, 2026. /Kabar/. Earlier in the day, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services Nurdan Oruntaev met with Turkish Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Mekin Mustafa Kemal Ökem.
As reported by the agency, the meeting highlighted the centuries-old friendly relations between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, discussed the exchange of experience in the construction sector and the implementation of joint projects.
Minister Nurdan Oruntaev noted that the Kyrgyz side is interested in expanding cooperation in the development of housing and infrastructure construction, as well as in the development of seismically stable design and construction of facilities, taking into account high seismic activity.
In turn, the Turkish ambassador expressed the readiness of the Turkish side to strengthen bilateral cooperation, as well as to develop practical interaction between relevant government agencies and business circles.
