Bishkek, May 13, 2026 /Kabar/. On May 12, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev received Turkish delegation led by Khazreti Akdemir, Chairman of the Board of Directors of RHOFA Energy.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers, during the meeting, they discuss issues of bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, with a particular emphasis on the use of renewable energy sources, specifically the construction of solar power plants in Kyrgyzstan. It was noted that Turkiye is demonstrating rapid development in renewable energy, with solar and wind power generation reaching high levels in recent years. In this regard, Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that the Kyrgyz Republic is interested in leveraging this experience and developing practical cooperation, attracting investment and modern technologies.
In turn, Hazreti Akdemir expressed interest in developing cooperation in investment, trade, and energy.
To advance cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkiye in the energy sector, particularly in renewable energy, it is planned to discuss investment opportunities with the Turkish company RHOFA Energy with the heads of several relevant government agencies.
