Bishkek, Dec. 9, 2025. /Kabar/. At regular Cabinet meeting, Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers announced that the consolidated budget for 2025 will exceed 1.1 trillion soms, exceeding the historic trillion-som mark for the first time.
According to the information policy service of the presidential administration, amendments to the national budget for 2025–2027 were reviewed during the meeting.
According to Kasymaliev, the approved consolidated budget for 2024 was 708.8 billion soms, and by the end of the year, it is expected to grow to 1.1 trillion soms, an increase of 153.8%, resulting in surplus of over 10 billion soms.
Kasymaliev also noted stable macroeconomic indicators.
"GDP growth was 10% in the first ten months of this year." According to the IMF, Kyrgyzstan is among the top three countries in the world in terms of real GDP growth. The year-end forecast is 1.779 trillion soms, 155.6 billion soms higher than the approved target.
The construction sector has seen particularly significant growth, averaging 42.8% year-on-year. Per capita GDP in 2025 is set at $2,616, but is projected to rise to $2,770 by the end of the year.
According to the National Bank, Kyrgyzstan's international reserves reached almost $8 billion at the end of October 2025, increase of more than $3 billion compared to October 2024," he said.
Furthermore, the head of the Cabinet noted that, despite the global economic slowdown and external political risks, Kyrgyzstan maintains positive development momentum and political stability. Following the meeting, the Cabinet approved amendments to the national budget.
