Bishkek, Jan.19, 2026. /Kabar/. From January to December 2025, consumer prices and tariffs increased by 9.4% across Kyrgyzstan compared to December of the previous year, according to Baktybek Kudaibergenov, Chairman of the National Statistical Committee.
The largest increase was recorded for tariffs for services provided to the population, up 11.2%. Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 9.9%, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 8%, and non-food products by 7.8%.
In December 2025, compared to December of the previous year, consumer prices and tariffs increased in all regions of the country. The highest overall price increase was recorded in Osh city, up 11.6%. This was due to a 12% increase in prices for non-food products, as well as a 13.5% increase in tariffs for public services.
The largest increase in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages was observed in Chui region, at 13.1%. The largest increase in prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products was recorded in the Issyk-Kul region, at 14.4%.
