Bishkek, Oct. 8, 2025. /Kabar/. The International Tourism Forum "Travel Hub. Commonwealth" was held in Makhachkala, providing a significant platform for discussing tourism development, strengthening cooperation between CIS countries, and promoting sustainable practices in the hospitality industry.
According to the Kyrgyz Republic Tourism Development Support Fund, Damir Zhumakanov, Head of the Fund's International Cooperation Department, participated in the event at the invitation of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly.
He presented Kyrgyzstan's tourism potential and the Fund's projects in developing tourism infrastructure, promoting the national brand, and expanding international partnerships. Following the forum, participants discussed recommendations aimed at developing the tourism industry in the CIS countries and strengthening interstate cooperation.
