Bishkek, March 12, 2025. /Kabar/. The Tourism Development Support Fund of Kyrgyzstan became a member of the Eurasian Alliance of Mountain Resorts. The corresponding Memorandum was signed by President of the Fund Kylychbek Rysaliev in Azerbaijan on the sidelines of the Eurasian Mountain Tourism Forum.
"Mountain resorts are not only tourism. Mountain resorts are a strategically important area for our countries. Mountains are our inspiration, a place of power, therefore, by joining forces, we strengthen our positions at the global level and reach a qualitatively new level," Kylychbek Rysaliev commented on joining the Alliance.
The Eurasian Alliance of Mountain Resorts (EAMC) currently includes ski resorts from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. South Korea also intends to join with its first ski resort, Yonpyeong. The mission of the EAMC is to promote the strategic development of tourism in the Eurasian space, as well as professional communication and promotion of the best practices and brands of mountain resorts - industry leaders.
The forum was dedicated to the prospects and opportunities of mountain tourism in Eurasia.
In his speech, President of the Tourism Fund Kylychbek Rysaliev spoke about plans for the development of mountain clusters in the Kyrgyz Republic. As well as about international investment projects for the development of the mountain infrastructure of our country.
