Bishkek, June 22, 2026. /Kabar/. Large poultry farm has opened in Novopavlovka village, Ysyk-Ata district.
According to the agriculture ministry, Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, the state and private entrepreneurs cooperatively financed the project.
"When fully operational, the facility will be able to meet 16.5% of the country's domestic egg needs, dramatically reducing import dependence. Currently, egg imports have been reduced to virtually zero, indicating that Kyrgyzstan has achieved complete self-sufficiency in this product through domestic production. The opening of the poultry farm has created permanent jobs for the local population, and the facility has adopted cutting-edge agricultural technologies," the statement says.
The poultry farm will produce 180,000 eggs per day. The project envisions the launch of four production facilities, each housing 50,000 hens, bringing the total number of birds to 200,000.
