Bishkek, Oct. 20, 2025 /Kabar/. New tools for developing the export potential of domestic companies have been introduced in Kyrgyzstan. The regional Aid for Trade project (Phase V) developed set of practical materials, funded by the Government of Finland and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
The developed materials are intended for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises operating or planning to enter foreign markets. They cover the entire export cycle—from assessing enterprise readiness to organizing international supplies and promoting products.
The set includes:
- step-by-step practical guides on export procedures, negotiations, participation in exhibitions, and B2B meetings;
- training videos with expert recommendations and successful examples of Kyrgyz companies;
- export document and contract templates compliant with international standards;
- checklists and forms for assessing export readiness and monitoring transaction stages;
- marketing templates and presentation materials for product promotion—from agriculture and honey to textiles, tourism, and IT.
All materials are adapted to Kyrgyz legislation and the requirements of importing countries, including certification, sanitary, packaging, and customs standards. The development takes into account the cultural and business specifics of foreign markets, as well as the real-world challenges faced by Kyrgyz exporters.
These resources will help entrepreneurs:
- comply with international requirements;
- properly prepare export documents;
- effectively promote Kyrgyz goods abroad;
- strengthen partnerships and expand export geography.
- partnership and national goals
The project is being implemented in partnership with the Kyrgyz Export Development and Promotion Center under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic (CCI KR).
It aligns with the objectives of the "Made in Kyrgyzstan" National Export Program for 2025–2028, which aims to increase the competitiveness of domestic producers and promote Kyrgyz goods in international markets.
