Bishkek, March 11, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz citizens from Bahrain and Kuwait will be brought to the country in the coming days, Seitek Zhumakadyr uulu, director of the consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs.
According to him, evacuation work continues within the framework of the president's order to bring citizens from the Middle East. These citizens will arrive via Saudi Arabia.
“We have 82 citizens in Bahrain and 480 in Kuwait. About 70 citizens are expected to arrive from Kuwait, and about 80 from Bahrain. However, the list is constantly changing due to the personal decisions of citizens. There are also Kyrgyz citizens in Qatar,” he said.
The director of the department also touched upon the citizens who have already been brought to the country.
“As is known, 420 citizens have already been evacuated from the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia on three planes. They flew in free of charge at the state’s expense,” added Jumakadyr uulu.
