Bishkek, March 3, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz citizens in Iran can exit via Turkiye, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan informs.
Due to the ongoing situation in Iran and the closure of the country's airspace, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that foreign citizens, including citizens of Kyrgyzstan, can exit from Iran to Turkish territory through checkpoints on the Iran-Turkiye land border.
"If you are in Iran and plan to exit through Turkiye, you must contact the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Kyrgyz Embassy in Turkiye in advance," the foreign ministry said.
