Bishkek, Feb. 25, 2026. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov participated in a board meeting of the Ministry of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Cabinet press service reported.
During the meeting, the ministry's work for 2025 was summarized and key objectives for 2026 were identified.
The board members presented reports on digital transformation and information security, and reviewed the performance of their subordinate departments and enterprises—the Service for Regulation and Supervision in the Communications Industry, the Archive Service, Tunduk OJSC, Kyrgyz Post OJSC, and Kyrgyztelecom OJSC.
In his speech, the Deputy Сhairman emphasized that digital transformation is a strategic area of state policy, directly impacting governance efficiency and the transparency of public services.
Following the board's conclusions, further guidelines were identified for accelerating digital reforms, improving public services, and developing a modern digital infrastructure in the Kyrgyz Republic.
