Bishkek, Oct. 20, 2026 /Kabar/. Today, October 20, Almaz Imangaziev, Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration, met with Hugh Riddell, Head of the World Bank Office in Kyrgyzstan. The meeting took place within the framework of a World Bank mission focused on the project "Strengthening Labor Market and Social Protection Programs" in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the ministry, the parties discussed the project's implementation progress, current results, and future steps to strengthen cooperation in promoting employment and improving the social protection system.
Special attention was paid to the effective execution of project activities aimed at developing labor market programs, expanding employment opportunities for citizens, and enhancing the targeting of social support measures.
The participants emphasized the importance of constructive engagement and the coordination of efforts to achieve the established goals.
