Bishkek, Oct. 13, 2026 /Kabar/. A delegation led by Minister of Health Damir Osmonov viewed modern robotic surgical equipment at the 17th Congress of Russian Surgeons in Moscow.

According to the ministry, the delegation examined a Russian-made robotic endoscopic system designed for performing high-tech, minimally invasive surgeries.

Such systems enable precise control of surgical instruments, allow operations to be performed through small incisions, and provide a magnified view of the surgical site. At the same time, key actions and clinical decisions remain under the surgeon's control.

A robotic endoscopic system developed by the company "Augmentech" was also showcased at the congress. Reports indicate that the equipment has successfully passed the necessary tests and received a registration certificate.

The 17th Congress of Russian Surgeons is taking place in Moscow from October 12 to 14. Discussions at the event focus on modern surgical treatment methods, innovative medical technologies, and the development of robotic surgery. Familiarization with modern equipment is aimed at learning from international experience to develop high-tech medical care in Kyrgyzstan.
