Bishkek, Dec.10, 2025 /Kabar/. According to the results of 2023, about 200 illegal constructions were identified in the country, but not a single illegal construction was registered this year, Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services Nurdan Oruntaev told Kabar.
According to him, today all constructions in the republic are carried out in accordance with the law. Previously, there were cases where illegal constructions were ignored. Now such phenomena are not allowed.
“Constructions without appropriate documents and plans are not allowed. If illegal construction has begun, appropriate measures will be taken immediately and fines will be imposed. About 3 thousand administrative protocols have been drawn up against illegal constructions, and a total of about 120 million soms in fines have been imposed. This amount includes cases of violations of the law within legal constructions. 80% of the fines have been collected, and 96 million soms have been received by the state budget,” he noted.
Oruntaev added that work is also underway on illegal constructions registered in previous years. “For example, out of 200 illegal constructions registered in 2023, 100 objects are legalized to protect the rights of citizens,” he said.
