An honor guard was formed in front of the building, and the national anthems of both countries were played.
Earlier, Sagynbek Abdumutalip, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Executive Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, stated that this visit, which is being carried out at the invitation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov, will be an important event in the development of the strategic partnership and allied relations between the two countries.
During the visit, high-level talks will be held to discuss key areas of bilateral cooperation, as well as issues of interaction within the EAEU, CIS, SCO, and CSTO. The visit includes an official welcoming ceremony at the Unity Palace, followed by talks between the Kyrgyz and Russian sides.
Following the meeting, a joint statement from the two leaders and the signing of a number of intergovernmental and commercial documents are expected.
Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Bishkek on a state visit yesterday, November 25. President Sadyr Zhaparov met the Russian leader at Manas International Airport.
