Bishkek, Aug 5, 2026 /Kabar/. The Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund continues to finance projects aimed at developing industry, infrastructure, and industrial cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, 37 projects worth a total of $100.5 million have been approved to date. $61.2 million of these projects were financed by the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
The projects created 883 new jobs, and delivered 367 units of specialized and commercial equipment.
It is noted that, thanks to the projects' implementation, mutual trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan increased by $40 million.
The fund supports projects in areas such as textiles, energy, logistics, manufacturing, municipal infrastructure, and public transportation upgrades.
