Bishkek, Oct. 8, 2025. /Kabar/. As of evening of October 7, 106 citizens have submitted applications to participate in the parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan, Tynchtykbek Shainazarov, the Chairman of the country’s Central Election Commission said.
According to him, of the total number of applicants, 68 are men and 38 are women.
"It should be noted that women are candidates in almost all electoral districts. Before the application deadline, I think the number of applicants will increase," the CEC Chairman noted.
The Central Election Commission previously reminded that applications from citizens intending to participate in the elections are still being accepted in accordance with the established procedure.
The parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan will be held on November 30, 2025. A total of 90 deputies will be elected for a five-year term under a majoritarian system from 30 multi-member constituencies.
