Bishkek, Nov. 19, 2025. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov received today Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, head of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.
According to the presidential press service, bilateral cooperation issues were discussed during the meeting, including strengthening political dialogue and implementing joint projects.
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized that Kyrgyz-Chinese relations are currently at a historic high, and each visit by Foreign Minister Wang Yi is filled with profound meaning and new ideas for developing a comprehensive strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and China.
In this context, the head of state emphasized practical cooperation, specifically noting the construction of railways and highways, the opening of new air routes, and the implementation of joint projects in many areas.
President Sadyr Zhaparov also highlighted the dynamic strengthening of multilateral cooperation, primarily within the SCO and the Central Asia-China format.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes from Chinese President Xi Jinping to Sadyr Zhaparov and expressed his readiness to make every effort to implement the agreements reached between the two heads of state. The Chinese foreign minister emphasized that he had previously visited Kyrgyzstan three years ago, noting the country's significant achievements during this time, adding that China, as a good neighbor and friend, is sincerely pleased with this.
Wang Yi praised the level of comprehensive partnership, good-neighborliness, and cooperation between the two countries. He also noted that representatives of Chinese companies operating in Kyrgyzstan are being made aware of the need to strictly adhere to the law and respect the traditions of the host country.
Concluding the meeting, President Sadyr Zhaparov conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to Chinese President Xi Jinping and wished Foreign Minister Wang Yi success in his government endeavors.
