Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2025. /Kabar/. "What more is needed to stop the war and the horrific events in Gaza?" asked President Sadyr Zhaparov on September 23, speaking at the General Debate of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
President Zhaparov noted that the world must empathize with the Palestinian people, who have suffered enormous losses as a result of the inhumane conflict in the Gaza Strip. He called for people not to remain indifferent to the human tragedy unfolding before the eyes of the entire world. "We demand that the genocide against the Palestinians be stopped and that an international judicial investigation be launched by the International Court of Justice!" the head of state said.
The president emphasized that the only way to establish lasting peace is to implement the "Two States for Two Peoples" principle. "Palestine must gain independence based on the 1967 borders," said President Sadyr Zhaparov.
