Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2025. /Kabar/. On September 23, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov participated in the opening ceremony of the General Debate of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, taking place in New York, United States of America.
Before the debate, a welcoming ceremony for President Zhaparov was held by UN Secretary-General António Guterres.
Heads of state and delegations from 195 countries are participating in the opening debates. The anniversary session of the UN General Assembly was opened under the slogan "Acting Better Together." This anniversary period marks joint efforts to strengthen international peace, sustainable development, and advance human rights.
President Sadyr Zhaparov will address the first day of the UN General Assembly debates.
His address is expected on the night of September 23-24, approximately between 2:00 and 3:00 AM Bishkek time.
