Bishkek, April 10, 2026. /Kabar/. The availability of textbooks in Osh stands at 97%. President Sadyr Zhaparov announced this during the groundbreaking ceremony for 10 secondary schools in Osh.
The head of state noted that, as part of the Altyn Kazyk program and the transition to a 12-year school system starting in 2025, the Okuu Kitebi publishing house is developing and publishing educational and methodological packages, including textbooks, workbooks, and teaching aids for teachers.
"The updating of educational materials is being carried out in stages. Textbooks on English, mathematics, and natural sciences are already being published, and competitions are being held among authors to prepare textbooks on the Kyrgyz language, geography, and history," the president reported.
