Bishkek, March 17, 2026. /Kabar/. The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) and Metall Torg Service signed the eighth phase of financing for $10 million. According to the fund, the funds will be used to replenish working capital to ensure uninterrupted supplies of rolled metal products for the country's construction industry.

Over ten years of cooperation, the RKDF has helped the company grow from a trader to a powerful industrial manufacturer. Today, Metall Torg Service is a modern production hub located on a 28,000-square-meter site.

Metal Torg Service's production facility already employs over 700 people, and the company plans to increase the number of jobs to 1,000 in the near future. The company annually contributes over 2 billion soms in taxes to the country's budget, and its production capacity allows it to cover 50% of Kyrgyzstan's needs through domestic production. Kyrgyzstan no longer imports; it produces its own.

"Partnerships with such companies have a clear goal: the company already replaces up to 50% of imported products in the country's construction market and supplies metal for large public construction projects, primarily for the State Mortgage Company (SMC), which builds affordable housing for citizens using domestic materials," said Artem Novikov, Chairman of the Board of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.

According to him, special attention is paid to technological excellence in the company's development. Unlike many companies in the region that use outdated technology, Metal Torg Service, with the support of the fund, has implemented state-of-the-art automated production lines. This enables the production of unique products, such as galvanized wire with a high-quality coating, where the zinc is applied in a uniform layer, ensuring increased durability.

RKDF continues to support projects aimed at developing the country's industry. The fund invests in initiatives that contribute to the goals outlined by President Sadyr Zhaparov to increase import substitution, develop domestic production, and enhance the economy's industrial potential.

"The second plant in Shopokov has a capacity of over 7,000 tons of galvanized wire and 3,600 tons of H-ball wire. Thanks to our collaboration with the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, we were able to expand our production in Bishkek and Shopokov," said Adyl Toktonaliev, Financial Director of Metal Torg Service.

"RKDF invests not only in new technologies and the acquisition of materials; we invest in projects that make Kyrgyzstan stronger," emphasized Artem Novikov.

It is noted that in December 2025, President Sadyr Zhaparov launched the new Metal Torg Service production complex.
